THE NAME

«Blok» refers us to the great poet of the Silver Age Alexander Blok, echoes of the beginning of the XX century are reflected in the visual appearance of the restaurant. The second meaning is meat block – a meat cutting board, the meaning of which is revealed in the concept of the restaurant menu, where there are more than 40 meat dishes.

CONCEPT

Meat restaurant by Alexander Rappoport with Russian author’s cuisine. According to the author, the restaurant is a place not only for gastronomic, but also for aesthetic impressions, where each guest can get his portion of art.

INTERIOR

The light-permeated space is built at the junction of Northern Art Nouveau and Leningrad avant-garde with elements of colonial style. In the hall there are light canvases by artists of the early XX century.

CHEF

Evgeny Zubov builds a meat concept that is well-known and loved by guests and embodies new interesting solutions with bright tastes and aesthetics in serving. Actively develops the industry, conducting master classes, gastronomic dinners and performing as a speaker at specialized festivals.
