This October, Sirru Fen Fushi – Private Lagoon Resort will welcome internationally acclaimed chef Karim Khouani for an exclusive three-day culinary residency as part of the resort’s Sirru Icons Series. The special programme will take place from 28 to 30 October 2026 in the Maldives.
Born in Marseille and now based in Copenhagen, Chef Karim is the owner of Restaurant Texture and has earned international recognition for his distinctive interpretation of French-Nordic cuisine. His cooking combines the precision and artistry of French gastronomy with the purity, seasonality and minimalist approach associated with contemporary Nordic culinary traditions.
During the residency, guests of Sirru Fen Fushi will have the opportunity to experience a series of specially curated dining events showcasing Chef Karim’s signature style. The menus will highlight premium ingredients, refined techniques and a strong connection to nature and the changing seasons.
The collaboration forms part of the resort’s ongoing Sirru Icons Series, which brings celebrated chefs, artists and cultural figures to the island for immersive guest experiences. Set within the private lagoon of Shaviyani Atoll, Sirru Fen Fushi continues to position itself as a destination where luxury hospitality and world-class gastronomy meet.
